Dr. Kayla Bazzana-Adams received her BSc in Psychology from the University of British Columbia in 2018 and PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Toronto in 2023. Before joining SUNY Korea in August 2026, she spent three years at the University of Calgary as a Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada Postdoctoral Fellow. Her scientific research centres on vertebrate neuroevolution with a focus on fossil tetrapods, while her pedagogical interests centre on improving accessibility in education for students from diverse backgrounds.
