Biography

Dr. Donald Bellomy received an undergraduate degree in history from the University of Virginia in 1969 and a doctorate in history from Harvard University in 1980. After two decades in market research for the computer and internet industries when teaching positions in his field dried up in the early 1980s, he finally found himself able to return to his first loves of history and teaching. He taught history and American culture at Sogang University in Seoul and global culture at Honam University in Gwangju before a very welcome move to SUNY Korea in 2019.
