Biography
Dr. Joseph Jungmin Hong is an Associate Professor and Head of the Faculty of Sciences and Humanities at SUNY Korea, where he served as Dean of Academic Affairs from 2019 until 2022. He is a board member of the Korean Association of International Studies. His research interests include presidential elections, public opinion, political polarization, independent voters, American foreign policy toward East Asia, and the US-China strategic competition. He earned a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Cincinnati.
